Selection

Induction and Onboarding

This criteria can be demonstrated through a range of documentation that evidences your commitment to best practice induction and onboarding.  This may be addressed through a written description of how you bring new employees or work experience placements into your business to ensure they have the required information to work safely and effectively.

  • Organisation handbook or key policies and procedures
  • Employment paper work e.g. employee contact information
  • New employee kit
  • Standard operating procedures or equivalent
  • Emergency evacuation plan
  • Hazard, incident, accident reporting forms

  • New employee plan – document feedback and progress
  • Performance review processes, templates or and/plans
  • Team and/or individual training plans
  • Professional development activities - preferably linked to the performance review process
  • Documents that demonstrate communication with employees regarding performance
  • Document control/review dates for key policy and procedure
